Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the west in a fantastic game for early level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the house, unlike nearly all other poker games that players wager against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, starting players do not have to be concerned about any other, more experienced people taking their money.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the generally slow game pace, novices can take their time and scheme without needing to make quick decisions.

It’s also easier to gamble on for an extended time with only a little bit of cash seeing as, to lose, each of your hands needs to be under each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is given 7 cards faces showing and the dealer gets 7 cards face down.

One 5 card hand and a 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
