Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the west in a fantastic game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the croupier, unlike most other poker games that players wager with other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginning players don’t have to be concerned about any other, more advanced individuals winning their money.

One more Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game play, beginners should be able to take their time and scheme while not having to make quick choices.

It’s also much simpler to enjoy for a long time with basically a small bit of money since, to lose, both of your hands must be under each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is assigned seven cards face up and the casino receives seven cards face down.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand need to be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
